Davido unveils Peruzzi’s and other DMW artists’ future as he inaugurates a new record label

Renowned Nigerian singer and music mogul, David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, has embarked on a new venture by teaming up with United Masters to unveil his latest label, Nine+ Records.

In this groundbreaking partnership, Davido assumes the role of leading artist development and A&R initiatives for a roster of talented Nigerian musicians.

In a recent announcement shared on X, Davido clarified the future of his current signees, revealing that all artists currently under DMW will transition to Nine+ Records, thus dispelling any confusion surrounding their affiliations.

Aligned with UnitedMasters, helmed by the esteemed Steve Stout, Davido and Nine+ Records aim to pioneer a new wave of African musical talent, prioritizing artist development, A&R expertise, talent acquisition, and operational aspects.

The evolution of Davido’s former record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), established in 2016, suggests a shift as Nine+ Records takes center stage.

Among the notable artists under DMW’s umbrella were Dremo, Yonda, Peruzzi, Idowest, DJ Ecool, Danagog, B-Red, Deekay, May D, Deinde, Ayanfe, Liya, Morravey, SayTheyCallMESG, and Logos Olori, all of whom are set to embark on this new chapter under Nine+ Records’ banner.
