Joe Biden, the immediate past President of the United States, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, according to a statement released by his personal office on Sunday.

The statement revealed that the cancer has already metastasized to his bones, indicating an advanced stage of the disease.

“Last week, President Joe Biden underwent an evaluation following a recent increase in urinary symptoms. A newly identified prostate nodule led to further tests, and on Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer,” the statement read.

The cancer, classified with a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5), is considered aggressive. However, it was noted that the disease remains hormone-sensitive, which opens the door to effective management strategies.
